Simple and Good

Another simple but good dinner.  Pot Roast with Hoisin, Red Wine,
Leeks, and Mushrooms.  Plopped on a bed of default Quinoa, and
Brussels Sprouts with Baby Carrots on the side.  Much Spanish wine
and Prosecco accompanied the dinner.  A multi-cultural affair.

  5. Not as chewy as Kasha or Bulghur Wheat. Nothing like couscous which is basically pasta. Poi is overcooked Cream of Wheat, or as some say, wallpaper paste. Aloha. Quinoa almost pops in your mouth when you chew it. It's light, extremely healthful, and almost impossible to overcook if you use 2 parts liquid to 1 part quinoa. Foolproof, and it's just as good cold out of the pot you cooked it in, standing in front of the open refrigerator, in your underwear. Promise. You can try that next time you're here.
